The ASU Dixie Devils are the newest member of the ASU Athletic Band family. This group is a tradition six-piece dixieland combo that performs at all Sun Devil home football games as well as selected basketball and baseball games.
You must be a member of the marching band to be considered. This group is open by audition only.
Sparky’s Sliders
The ASU Sparky’s Sliders are a second Dixieland ensemble comprised of five trombones, tuba and percussion. They perform at the ASU home football games and at other outside performances. Sparky’s Sliders are all students in the ASU School of Music and are music education majors, jazz performance majors, and graduate students.
You must be a member of the marching band to be considered. This group is open by audition only.
