MM Audition Materials and Requirements: Voice
Vocal Performance

• Three memorized pieces are required: one in French, one in German, and one in Italian (not all arias, please). 
• Provide musical scores or readable copies of your audition pieces for the accompanist.  Prepare six typed copies of your three song texts (in the original languages, not translations or musical scores). 
• You will be judged on your diction at this time and if accepted.
• You will take a written diction exam your first week at ASU (knowledge of the IPA required) and later, before the end of the first semester, a spoken diction exam.
