MM Audition Materials and Requirements: Organ
As a master’s student, you should prepare:

• An audition program for the Fritts organ. The program should include 15 to 20 minutes of music, including some pre-Bach, a work by Bach and a later work that can be played effectively without a Swell box.
• You will be interviewed for approximately 10 minutes by the selection committee following the audition.
• You may be asked to sight read a hymn or to provide a simple analysis of an organ score during the audition.
• Taped auditions will be considered, but a live audition is required to qualify for scholarships.
