Ensembles

Auditions for the ASU Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Chamber Players, Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonietta percussion sections are held during the first week of classes each fall semester.  You are required to demonstrate proficiency on snare drum, keyboard percussion and timpani.  Non-music majors are invited to participate.  Audition materials are made available for download on this page beginning in May.  An audition signup sheet will posted on the bulletin board next to Music Building office WB24 the week before Fall semester.
 
There are no auditions required for the ASU Concert Band.  If you have any experience on snare drum, keyboard percussion and/or timpani are encouraged to enroll.  Those interested are asked to visit with the percussion faculty during the fall auditions.
