Faculty Feats Faculty Feats are a great resource for everyone to quickly discover what is happening with individual Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts faculty members. Nancy Buck, Associate Professor, Music 2008-06-01 Of the many offerings, the Congress sessions promote excellence in viola performance, premiere new compositions written for viola, further research and scholarship opportunities, and showcase emerging talent. Pre-college violists have their own day to participate and perform during the Bratsche Resources and Teaching in the Schools (BRATS) program. "It is the only event of its kind in the world, and it is a great honor to be selected as the host chair," Buck says. "The Congress showcases everything about the viola, bringing people together to add to the unique and vibrant history of our beautiful instrument." Project Date: June 2008
