Mike Shellans, senior lecturer in popular music and jazz, received a distinctive teaching award and his three internet courses in popular music, the Beatles and Elvis Presley now service 1950 students per semester. His newest text Who is the greatest/Elvis or the Beatles?, is a critical comparison of the two music giants and is available through the ASU bookstore.
