Danwen Jiang, Associate Professor of Violin, Music

2008-03-14
Danwen Jiang is an assistant violin professor in the ASU Herberger College School of Music. During March 2008, she presented an impressive violin master class at the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) national conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the only invited guest clinician for the university-level violin master class. Jiang’s outstanding teaching and performance demonstrations were described by many participating musicians as one of the best events of the conference.

At the 2005 ASTA national conference in Reno, Nevada, this honor was given to violinist Midori. One of the conference highlights was Jiang performing as a featured soloist with Jazz violinist Regina Carter and the ASU Symphony Orchestra.
