Community

Each school year the ASU orchestras in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Music undertake important community engagement projects.  The ASU Symphony Orchestra has performed on the Verde Valley Concert Series in Cottonwood, Arizona as well as on the concert series at the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale. Last fall, the ASU Chamber Orchestra played two young people’s programs for over 1,000 elementary school students at the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts in Wickenburg, Arizona. The ASU Symphony Orchestra will return to Wickenburg this September for two more school concerts.

Other outreach efforts have included performances for the Green Valley, Arizona Concert Series, Leisure World, as well as professional collaborative productions with both Ballet Arizona and the Phoenix Bach Choir.
