Research

Research is an important part of music education. Graduate students are expected to conduct research as part of their regular course work. Graduate students at ASU regularly have the opportunity to present the findings of their research in local and national venues. In addition to research undertaken as a component of course work, thesis and dissertation work, students may work closely with faculty on initiatives such as the Music, Learning, and Society Research Group, and the Sounds of Learning Grant.
