Community The ASU Latin Jazz Workshop is a two-week big band and small group program for students grades 6-12. Ensembles focus on Latin-Jazz or Mambo literature made popular by artists such as Mario Bauzo, Machito Grillo, Tito Puente, Tito Rodriquez and Eddie Palmieri. Under the direction of Michael Kocour and Dom Moio, with an instructional staff that includes members of the ASU Jazz Studies faculty, the ASU Latin-Jazz Workshop brings an inspiring and culturally enriching summer music experience to young musicians. Registration for Latin Jazz Workshop opens early spring of every year. Visit the Herberger College at Large site for details and registration information.
