Trio del Sol

Individually, their performances have been described as “dazzling” (The Clarinet Magazine), “stunning” (The Arizona Republic), and “excellent” (The Strad). Together, they form Trio del Sol, a vibrant and dynamic ensemble that combines performances of the great literature for clarinet, violin and piano with exciting original arrangements.

Now in their 10th season, clarinetist Robert Spring, violinist Katherine McLin and pianist Andrew Campbell have performed on concert series throughout the United States, in addition to numerous performances in the Southwest, where they are in residence in the ASU Herberger College School of Music. Recent performances include appearances on the Distinguished Artist Series at Willamette University in Oregon, the University of Puget Sound (WA) and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
