New staff members join the School of Music in 2001 Amy Haltom is the new Administrative Secretary for the School of Music. She joined the school staff in August. Her duties include assistance to student, faculty, staff and general public, maintain the school's Calendar of Events database and do faculty searches, grade reports and mail distribution. She holds a BM in Music History from the University of North Texas and an MM in Historical Performance from the Mannes College of Music. Amy has served as Administrative Assistant for the Suzuki Association of Boulder, Colorado; the Amherst Early Music, Inc. of New York; and the Mannes College of Music Preparatory program in New York. She is a founding member of the Arizona early music ensemble, the Galieo Project, as well as other regional early music groups, and is also a founding member and the director of the Denver, Colorado, area ensemble, the Boulder Broken Consort. Gary Quamme is the new Assistant Facilities and Events Coordinator for the School of Music. He began his duties in August. Prior to that, he was a member of the Performance Events Staff and, since Fall 1996, was Assistant Performance Events Staff Manager. His duties in his new position are primarily event and recital scheduling, maintaining the schedules for our performance halls and classrooms, and issuing building keys. Quamme holds a BM in organ performance from ASU and has studied with Robert Clark and Kimberly Marshall.
