Welcome to the composition program in the Herberger Institute School of Music at Arizona State University. The School of Music has, for many years, been the home of one of the leading composition programs in the country.

If you have an interest in electronic and computer music, you can work in the Electronic Music Research Studios and can supplement your program by taking courses in the School of Arts Media and Engineering, a collaborative initiative between the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and the Fulton School of Engineering.
