Piano Prep Program

The ASU Piano Prep Program begins its 26th year with pride in our history, gratitude to our many participants, and a vigorous commitment to continued excellence. The Piano Prep Program provides students from the community with opportunities for quality piano instruction from highly selected ASU graduate students in piano performance/pedagogy. Students enjoy a well-planned and varied curriculum, emphasizing the development of musicianship skills through piano study and performance. The pairing of individual and group lessons provides children with the best possible combination for enjoyable and effective learning of these skills.

The Piano Prep Program offers superior instruction in a creative and highly motivating learning environment. The university setting provides unique enrichment opportunities. A well-qualified faculty, special recitals, guest artists, excellent facilities, high technology piano labs, and a comprehensive curriculum enhance instruction at all levels. Piano Prep Program students enjoy a well-planned and varied curriculum emphasizing the development of musicianship skills through piano study and performance. Students participate in the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, the Arizona Study Program, and in various activities sponsored by the Arizona State Music Teachers Association, a state affiliate of Music Teachers National Association.
