Colorguard

The ASU Sun Devil Band Colorguard is one of the most visible aspects of the ASU Sun Devil Marching Band.  This select group of young men/women is chosen by audition in the spring for the following academic year. 

The colorguard presents the visual story of the band’s half-time program through the use of flags, rifles, sabers, props and dance. As a member of the Sun Devil Colorguard, you will get to experience “corps-style” choreography and benefit from instruction by some of the field’s leaders. The colorguard also will be competing in the WGAZ winterguard circuit as well as WGI events through the academy/ASU program.

To be a part of the colorguard, you must fill out an application separate from the Gold Form (ASU Sun Devil Marching Band application). You must also audition the spring prior to performing.
