Prescreening Required for All Voice Applicants
In order to be considered for a live, in-person audition, applicants for all voice concentrations must submit a prescreening video recording. Prescreening recordings must be in video and are only accepted via SlideRoom. DVD/CD submissions received are neither reviewed nor acted upon.
The following deadlines apply for the receipt of prescreening materials, complete School of Music application materials, and University application materials (Undergraduate Admissions/ASU Graduate College):
October 1 for Spring semester admission
December 1 for Fall semester admission
Complete application materials due on the dates above include:
Undergraduate Applicants
Graduate Applicants
Applications received without a prescreening video recording uploaded to SlideRoom will be considered incomplete, and the applicant will not be considered for an invitation to a live audition.
Memorization and piano accompaniment is strongly recommended for the video prescreening and is required for live auditions.
